Task Force “Tabang Uswag SGLG R5” First Quarterly Meeting was conducted last March 12, 2025 via Zoom, presided by DILG Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO IV as the Chairman of the Task Force Tabang Uswag SGLG R5.

The activity have gathered the DILG SGLG Core Team members and representatives from various National Government Agencies tasked to collaborate and effectively provide technical assistance to the Local Government Units thus ensure its compliance to the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) in accordance with the mandate under Republic Act 11292 otherwise known as the SGLG Act of 2019. These partner-agencies were Department of Finance-Bureau of Local Government Finance (DOF-BLGF), Civil Service Commission (CSC), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Education (DepED), Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), National Youth Commission (NYC), Office of Civil Defense (OCD), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Tourism (DOT) and National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP).

The highlights of the meeting are the message of DILG RD Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober Jr., CESO III emphasizing the need of collaboration and combined efforts among member-agencies, and the presentation of the CY 2024 SGLG Assessment Results which showed the statistical data of LGU performance for all the six provinces and Naga City, as well as the indicators of the SGLG governance areas to be sustained and improved in the future SGLG implementation.
