DILG R5 Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero EnP, MM, CESO V, representing Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, CESO III, graces the Pasasalamat Recognition Rites as Guest of Honor and Speaker on July 27, 2022 at the NICA R5 Conference Room, Camp BGen Simeon Ola, Legazpi City.

Spearheaded by the Situational Awareness and Knowledge Management (SAKM) Cluster of the Joint Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (JRTF ELCAC 5) led by SAKM Cluster Head and NICA R5 RD Vert T. Chavez, the Recognition Rites aims to recognize the members of the SAKM cluster and its key stakeholders in their efforts in the effective implementation of EO70.

In her message, ARD Lucero shared that with the long list of significant accomplishments under EO70, it is but fitting to recognize those which have been instrumental in carrying out the mission of the SAKM Cluster.

DILG R5 also received a plaque of recognition from the SAKM cluster recognizing the efforts and initiatives towards the attainment of inclusive peace and sustained development in the Bicol Region.
Present during the awarding ceremony were PRO5 RD PBGEN Mario A Reyes and DSWD R5 ARD Arwin Razo representing RD Leo Quintilla. The key partners from the security sector, 9ID Philippine Army Headquarters, Brigade and Battalion Commanders, and PNP Provincial Directors with Mobile Force Battalions also attended the ceremony through virtual teleconference.

DILG R5 remains steadfast in our commitment with the SAKM cluster as the prime messenger and mover in changing mindsets and public perception and in communicating the objectives of EO70. As we continue to bring the government closer to the people especially to the Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs), we are hopeful of achieving a peaceful and progressive Bicol region.
