In an effort to drive meaningful change and strengthen governance at the grassroots level, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office V kicked-off the second module of its RESET Program, titled “Getting Results That Matter: Planning Workshops for Target DILG Municipal Operations Offices on LGCDD and LGMED – Lupon Tagapamayapa Incentive Award and Peace and Order Council and Other Programs,” on January 27, 2025 at the DILG RO V Training Hall, Legazpi City.

The day commenced with a rousing message from Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo Escober, CESO III who urged participants to rise to the occasion. “This seminar is an opportunity to showcase your commitment to excellence. I expect everyone to give your best shot,” he emphasized. Meanwhile, Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO IV followed with an inspiring overview of the R.E.S.E.T. program. She underscored the significance of embracing change to propel progress and achieve impactful governance.

The highlight of the day was the cliniquing session led by the Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED). Participants engaged in interactive discussions on LGMED’s programs. The session clarified expectations and provided a platform for collaboration, ensuring attendees were equipped with the skills necessary to excel as public servants.

Attended by Local Government Operations Officers from municipalities across the Bicol region, the event was a testament to the DILG’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and meaningful results in local governance.

RESET Module 2 is more than a seminar; it is a call to action for local government officers to champion impactful change and uphold the essence of public service in their communities.
