DILG 5 Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, CESO III is conferred with the DRRM Excellence Award by the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Council (RDRRMC) Bicol through its Chairperson and OCD 5 Regional Director Claudio L. Yucot on September 14, 2022.

The award recognizes his exemplary support, invaluable service, dedication and commitment to RDRRMC Bicol. As the Vice-Chairperson of Disaster Preparedness, RD Nuyda devoted his time and efforts in initiating innovations and forging partnerships with key stakeholders through responsive capacity development interventions and proactive performance monitoring over Local Government Units (LGUs) to further strengthen the resilience of the Bicol Region.

The DRRM Excellence Award resonates RD Nuyda’s unwavering commitment and laudable contributions to realize the mandates of the Department in sustaining peaceful, progressive, and resilient communities through mainstreaming convergence of key players geared towards excellence in Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (DRR-CCA) and in local governance.
