DILG Region 5’s Project Development Management Unit (PDMU), led by PDMU Chief Leandro S. Gigantoca, monitored some of the ongoing Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) projects in four barangays in Bulan, Sorsogon: Brgy. Abad Santos, Brgy. Magsaysay, Brgy. San Isidro and Brgy. San Ramon.

PDMU Chief Gigantoca reiterated the importance of choosing their proposed priority projects which should follow the design standards per project type. He said it is imperative to consider factors such as project longevity, maintenance, and location when deciding on the projects to implement.

Together with the Department’s Provincial and Regional Engineers, other proposed projects were also validated, like sources for water systems, Right of Way for Roads, and lot ownership for infrastructures.

The remaining target barangays for the RCSP aim to be completed within the year’s second quarter.
