Bannering the Whole-of-Government Approach, PBBM extends a total of Php 162 million in financial assistance along with other various government assistance and services from DSWD, DA, and DAR to El Niño-struck provinces of Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.

President Marcos during his speech also emphasized his long term plans to improve the region’s agricultural and fishery sector. He believes that agriculture is the key to the success of the country.

Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober Jr., the Regional Director of DILG Region 5 was represented by DILG Albay Provincial Director Ray B. Caceres for the second leg of PBBM’s visit in the region.
