In line with the Bagong Pilipinas vision of leadership, which underscores the importance of convergence in delivering vital government services directly to the Filipino people, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., through the Office of the President, conducted the Nationwide Distribution of Comprehensive Government Assistance. This initiative was in partnership with key national government agencies (NGAs) and all provinces nationwide.

The presence of key officials from different national government agencies (NGAs) in Bicol Region were; Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Teodoro J. Herbosa in Albay; DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma and USEC Atty. Benjo Santos Benavides in Sorsogon; DOE ASEC Mario C. Marasigan in Masbate; PCO Acting Secretary Cesar B. Chavez in Camarines Sur; DTI Usec Atty. Allan B. Gepty and DTI Assistant Regional Director Joseph D. Rañola in Camarines Norte; and USEC DICT Jeffrey Ian C. Dy in Catanduanes, highlighted the significance of the event, emphasizing the joint efforts of various NGAs in addressing the needs of local communities. Local chief executives and functionaries were also in attendance to express their full support in leading government efforts in their respective communities.

DILG Region 5, headed by RD Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober Jr., CESO V, joined the event at the Kadiwa ng Pangulo Center at Albay Farmers’ Bounty Village in Camalig, Albay. RD Escober was accompanied by DILG Albay Provincial Director Ray B. Caceres and Program Manager LGOO VI Coniefer B. Codia. The event, which showcased the different functions and services offered by different agencies, aimed to provide aid to the most vulnerable constituents while highlighting the importance of a collective effort toward a Bagong Pilipinas.
