Capping the DILG Region 5’s 2022 Sports and Cultural Year-End Activity with glitz and glam, the Department recognized its outstanding and top-performing employees from the Regional and Provincial Offices during the 2022 Gabi ng Parangal held on December 22, 2022, at Tanchuling Hotel, Legazpi City.

Hon. Florida M. Dijan, CESO III, Assistant Secretary for Human Resource Development of the DILG Central Office keynoted the awarding ceremonies, extending her warm congratulations not just to the awardees, but to the entire workforce of DILG Region 5 for going above and beyond the call of their duties in order to deliver a Matino, Mahusay, at Maaasahang public service to all Bicolanos.

The ceremonies led by DILG 5 Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober Jr., CESO V and Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO V gave recognition to the Best Performing City/Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (C/MLGOOs), Best Performing Focal Persons (Regional and Provincial Offices), Best Performing Program Managers, Best Performing Administrative Personnel (Regional and Provincial Offices), Best Performing Clusters, and Best Performing Provincial Offices.
Further, Loyalty Awards were given to employees who have rendered 10-40 years (in five-year increments) of valuable services to the Department.

Lastly, plaques and certificates were given to all the winners of the sports and cultural events conducted within the three-day Year-End Activity.
