The municipalities of Mobo, Masbate and Sto. Domingo, Albay were awarded with the PhP1,000,000.00 Performance Challenge Fund Grant as an incentive for complying with the measures and benchmarks of good housekeeping.

The PCF grant is given to 4^th to 6^th class municipalities that passed the test of good housekeeping. It will be utilized as a counterpart fund to LGU’s allocation from the 20% Development Fund for the implementation of development projects that are consistent with national goals to achieve the Millenium Development Goals (MDG).

Mobo and Sto. Domingo were among the top ranked 15  4^th  to  6^th class municipalities all over the nation to be granted with the PCF grant. – (LGOO V Gerardo Glenn Berces)
