The Local Government Academy (LGA) conducted the Local Governance Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) Assessment in DILG Regional Office V on November 25, 2021. The activity aims to assess and validate that Bicol LGRRC is a knowledge-centric organization in delivering relevant knowledge and services to promote excellence in local governance.
The assessment has two components: Accomplishment of Questionnaire through a series of meetings and discussions conducted to ensure the veracity of the data that will be provided in the questionnaire; and On-site Validation of Accomplished Questionnaires, through which the LGA team composed of Research and Policy Development Division Chief Ms. Marciana C. Obispo and Project Officer Ms. Amica Laine M. Francisco conducted the validation activities at the LGRRC Knowledge Hub.
The LGRRC Core Team, headed by DILG 5 RD Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda participated in the validation interview together with LGRRC-MSAC partners, CODE-NGO Chairperson Ms. Aurora R. Chavez, and Bicol University – Jesse M. Robredo Institute of Governance and Development Director Prof. Noemi L. Ibo. The validation team also assessed the Albay and Catanduanes sub-LGRRCs. See less
