DILG Region 5 formally launched its Regional Infomercial on Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS) on Friday, October 8, 2021 during the Coordination Meeting with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) 5.
The said meeting was attended by the CBMS Focal Persons of the six (6) DILG Provincial Offices and all local government units (LGUs) of the Bicol Region. Also present in the activity were key officials and personnel of PSA Central and Regional Office represented by RD Cynthia L. Perdiz, CESO IV.
Aside from DILG 5’s launching of the CBMS Infomercial, the activity also tackled the CBMS Calculator which is a tool that will help the LGUs determine the budgetary requirements needed for the implementation of CBMS.
Among regions, DILG Region 5 is the first to launch the digital information campaign for this program, according to PSA 5. This is part of DILG’s CBMS-advocacy campaign in preparation for its national rollout in 2022 through Bicol LGRRC’s multi-media knowledge and information facility.
