Pursuant to its mandate, the ICAD Advocacy Cluster convened last March 28, 2025 for its 1st Quarter Meeting. The meeting serves as the platform for member agencies to present their anti-illegal drug plans and programs for the year 2025, fostering a more unified and strategic approach in the fight against illegal drugs. Through strengthened collaboration, the cluster reaffirms its commitment to a harmonized and intensified campaign for a drug-free workplace and community.

The meeting was presided by DILG5 Regional Director, Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober Jr., with the active participation of representatives from the ICAD Advocacy Cluster member agencies. In attendance were representatives from the NAPOLCOM Regional Office 5, Police Regional Office 5, 9th Infantry Spear Division – Philippine Army, PDEA Region 5, DOLE Region 5, PSA – RSSO V, PIA Region 5, Commission on Higher Education Region 5, DepEd Region 5, DOH Bicol, and PAO Region 5.

Among the highlights of the discussion was ensuring the implementation of a Drug-Free Workplace Policy among Advocacy Cluster members who are at the forefront of this initiative. This effort seeks to expand the adoption and implementation of Drug-Free Workplace Policy in other NGAs and the LGUs by the end of the year, fostering safer, healthier, and drug-free communities while further reinforcing the government’s commitment to drug prevention and intervention.

Through strengthened collaboration, the ICAD Advocacy Cluster remains steadfast in its commitment to a sustained campaign against illegal drugs.
