Today marks another significant milestone for the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program as it commences the groundbreaking ceremony for the eagerly anticipated “Don Maximino Chavez De Malinao Residencias” in Brgy. Sta. Elena, Malinao, Albay.

The housing project is set to encompass 3,552 units distributed among 37 Building Units, each comprising four floors, along with a total of 526 parking slots. With an average of 24 units on every floor, the development promises to provide ample housing options for its future residents.

Leading the groundbreaking ceremony were distinguished figures including DSHUD Usec. Roland Samuel T. Young, SHFC Executive Vice President Atty. Junefe G. Payot, LGU Malinao Mayor Hon. Sheryl P. Capus-Bilo, Vice Mayor Hon. Abner E. Cargullo, and Albay PPDO Arnold C. Onrubia.

Among the esteemed guests attending the event were DILG 5 Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, DSHUD Assistant Secretary Rosve Henson, DHSUD 5 Regional Director Richard L. Manila, PMS Assistant Secretary Summer Sia, and LPDC President Jose Rañola.

The Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program, also known as the 4PH Program, stands as the nation’s premier housing initiative under the PBBM administration. Launched in September 2022, its primary objective is to eliminate informal settlements by 2028. Additionally, it aims to construct 1 million housing units annually, thereby addressing the country’s daunting 6.5 million housing backlog.
