A three-day workshop on the finalization of the DILG Information System and Strategic Plan (ISSP) for FY 2015- 2017 was spearheaded by the Information Systems and Technology Management Service (ISTMS) in consultation with Philippines Australia Human Resource and Organisational Development Facility (PAHROD) on November 4-6, 2014 at Subic Park Hotel, SBMA.

All the members of the TWG of the DILG ISSP from the different bureaus of the Department and all the Regional Information Technology Officers (RITOs) of the Regions were present and worked together on the finalization of the said plan.

OIC-Director Loida S. Linson of ISTMS emphasized the importance of the development of the Department’s ISSP as part of the DOST-ICTO requirement for the release of the ICT Budget for the next three years.

With assistance from PAHROD Consultants for further formation, the workshop output during the ISSP Workshop held last September 3-5, 2014 was presented. Part of the presentation include the Vision, Mission, Mandate, and the Major Final Output and Office Performance Indicator Framework (OPIF) of DILG where ICT systems, support and other resources were given utmost importance as one of the integral part in the development of the ISSP of the Department.
