The Municipalities of Manito and Malinao (Albay), San Lorenzo Ruiz (Camarines Norte), Milaor and Buhi (Camarines Sur), Panganiban (Catanduanes), Batuan and San Fernando (Masbate) attended the training on “Coaching on the Business-Friendliness and Competitiveness Indicators” on July 18-19, 2024 held at Hotel Venezia, Legazpi City.

Eight (8 ) Local Government Units (LGUs) were capacitated on the Integration of Barangay Clearance in the Business Permitting Process by Ms. Asuncion C. Viñas, REA, REB (BPLO of Legazpi City) and the Rationalization of Fees and Charges, Salient Features and Legal Basis of the Rationalization of Fees and Charges by Regional Director of Bureau of Local Government Finance, Jessie B. Doctolero, REA, REB, REC, and the Steps in the Utilization of the Local Fees and Charges Toolkit by LTOO III Vincent R. Sanchez.

Participants include the Business Permit and Licensing Officer (BPLO), Building Official and a member of the Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART). The event focused on enhancing regulatory and public services in the local government units, fostering a local enabling environment and encouraging local and private sector investments in public infrastructure and services to promote local economic development.
