In line with the Presidential Directive to revitalize the campaign for COVID-19 vaccination, the Department of Health Bicol Center for Health and Development (DOH Bicol CHD) joins the nationwide simultaneous launching of the PinasLakas Campaign at Daraga North Central School on July 26, 2022.

A ceremonial inoculation for different age and priority groups commenced to kick-start the campaign.
Representing DILG 5 Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, CESO III, LGMED OIC-Chief Darlyn D. Ayende expressed the agency’s continued support for the COVID-19 vaccination program as it is a vital and contributive factor for community protection.

DOH Bicol CHD Regional Director Dr. Ernie V. Vera, CESO IV, DOH Family Health Cluster Head Dr. Maita Urbi-Bobis, Albay Provincial Health Officer Dr. Nathaniel Rempillo, DepEd 5 Regional Director represented by Dr. Israel Parra, and LGU Daraga Mayor Carlwyn Baldo also conveyed their steadfast support to the efforts of the National Government to the ongoing combat against COVID-19.
DOH Bicol CHD Assistant Regional Director Dr. John Ferchito L. Avelino, National Immunization Program Regional Coordinator Dr. Desiree A. Bricenio, Albay Provincial DOH Officer Dr. Joseph Richard Garay, and UNICEF Ms. Nancy Pastrana were also present during the launching.
