DILG V kicks off the 2023 Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) Baranggayan sa Bikol immersions with priority barangays in Albay and Sorsogon, April 10, in its first week of implementation.

The RCSP is a flagship program in support of EO70, which aims to improve the lives of people in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs) through the convergence of government efforts in bringing peace and development.

Now on its fifth year of implementation since 2019, DILG V is once again facilitating the RCSP immersions starting this April and throughout 2023.

Ligao City Mayor Fernando Gonzalez and Guinobatan Mayor Paul Chino Garcia personally graced the RCSP kick-off activities in their respective priority barangays.

This year’s RCSP is set to engage more priority areas in Camarines Sur and Masbate in the succeeding weeks and aims to reach over 200 barangays under the 2023 implementation.
