To strengthen the promotion of honesty, transparency, and orderly management of public funds and ensure people’s awareness on the available funds and the allocated amount for development projects of LGUs, DILG Regional Office V through its Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED) together with the Bureau of Local Government Supervision- Full Disclosure Policy (BLGS-FDP) Focal Person, LGOO IV Nimfa Francia, led a dialogue with the Sorsogon Provincial FDP FP, Municipal Local Government Operations Officers, and LGUs FDP FP of the Municipalities of Magallanes, Matnog, Donsol, and PLGU Sorsogon last March 15, 2023.

The dialogue paved way for discussions on issues and concerns encountered in uploading documents on the FDP portal and the possible interventions that the BLGS-FDP can provide to the LGUs. This serves as an avenue to congregate ideas that can be utilized as inputs to improve the FDP Portal V3.

The FDP Portal V3 is an online platform dedicated in helping provinces, cities, and municipalities in sharing their financial documents online with their constituents. The public can view, download, and print LGU financial documents which they can utilize to further understand how their local governments manage and spend their budget for public services.
