The City Government of Sorsogon headed by Mayor Maria Ester Hamor, has been certified in ISO 9001:2015 by the Certification International Philippine, Inc. to have successfully implemented a quality management system.

The certificate was received by Sorsogon City Mayor Maria Ester Hamor along with Congresswoman Evelina G. Escudero, Governor Francis Joseph G. Escudero, Vice Governor Atty. Manuel Fortes Jr., and was witnessed by DILG V ARD Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober, Jr., DBM V ARD Antonio Villanueva and DTI V PD Heginio A. Baldano at Sorsogon State University Audio Visual Hall on Thursday, 29 July 2021.
