As Vice-chair for Disaster Preparedness of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 5 personnel participated in the Third Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) at the Regional Office on September 7, 2023.
Demonstrating utmost alertness and adherence to safety protocols, the personnel conducted building safety inspections and engaged in a post-briefing session with Legazpi City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRMMO) representatives. This activity aims to enhance public awareness and preparedness for potential earthquakes.
