In pursuit of procurement excellence, DILG Region 5 successfully conducted a three-day procurement seminar-workshop titled “DILG Annual Procurement Conference: Elevating the Technical Competencies of DILG R5 in Public Procurement,” on May 7-9, 2025 at Patio San Jose, Malilipot, Albay.

The activity, spearheaded by the Finance and Administrative Division (FAD) and the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), aimed to equip participants with updated knowledge on procurement policies, strategies, and legal frameworks.

The seminar served as a vital capacity-building initiative, empowering DILG personnel with the necessary technical competencies to carry out procurement functions efficiently, transparently, and in full compliance with existing laws. It reinforced accountability and integrity in the delivery of public service through informed and well-guided procurement practices.
