The Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) of DILG Region 5, led by Engineer IV Jerome Paul A. Labayo, Engineer III Kendrick R. Escalada, and Project Evaluation Officer II Karl Hanzel C. Lozano, along with DILG Camarines Sur Provincial Engineers and Project Evaluation Officer, recently conducted project monitoring in the city of Pili and the municipalities of Gainza, Del Gallego, and Lagonoy.

The purpose of the inspection was to discuss the updates on the implementation of the Local Government Support Fund – Financial Assistance to Local Government Units FY 2023 (LGSF-FALGU) projects in Camarines Sur Province from January 29 to February 02, 2024.

During the exit conference with the PLGU, LCEs, and LGU Functionaries, the team discussed the issues, concerns, recommendations, and strategies related to the implementation of LGSF-FALGU projects. The project implementation milestones, along with their physical and financial status on the monitoring platforms, were also reviewed.

DILG Region 5 conducts regular project monitoring and evaluation to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of LGSF projects in the Bicol Region.
