Department of the Interior and Local Government 5, through the Bicol Local Government Regional Resource Center (LGRRC), participated in the training on Basic Statistics at Hotel Venezia, Legazpi City, on September 7-8, 2023.

Led by resource persons from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) 5, the activity is aimed to equip personnel with basic statistical knowledge and tools that will empower them to analyze and interpret various data to produce result-based outputs in effectively monitoring Locally Funded Projects.

The Bicol LGRRC is designed to promote the culture of learning and knowledge sharing to support the department’s role in exhibiting local governance excellence and integration of knowledge management within the department’s processes, systems, and among LGUs and its stakeholders.
