As part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote gender equality and women’s rights, DILG R5 thru the Local Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED) conducted the Orientation on the Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) on March 18, 2024 via Zoom Platform.
This online activity aims to provide all DILG R5 personnel a more comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms in place to safeguard women’s and children’s rights. By equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills, the department can contribute to creating a safer and more inclusive society for all.
In attendance were the Top Regional Management led by Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober Jr., CESO V, Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO V and Local Government and Monitoring Division (LGMED) Chief Darlyn D. Ayende. Also present were LGMED Assistant Division Chief Amaline R. Colina, LGOO V Roma Santa C. Miranda assisted by LGOO IV Kristine B. Camposano, LGOO II Maica P. Valladolid, and ADA IV Miguel Francisco F. Callo.
