DILG R5 conducts a four-day training activity on Enhancing the Capacities of Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Formulation of Risk-Informed Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP+) at the Proxy by the Oriental, Legazpi City, Albay.


This is part of the efforts in providing technical assistance for 5th class Municipalities of Bicol Region on the formulation and/or updating of their CDP+. A total of 53 participants composed of MPDCs, MDRRMOs, MSWDOs, SB Members, and MLGOOs will undertake a series of discussions and workshops throughout the four-day training.


Present during the kick-off is Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO V who encouraged the participants to be more steadfast in complying with the requirement of the laws and to give emphasis on the good governance component of the CDP in order to implement their programs, projects, and policies in an efficient manner.


Resource Persons from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), Climate Change Commission (CCC), and Bureau of Local Government Development (BLGD) will share their knowledge and expertise in different subject matters relative to the CDP.
