DILG R5 officially commences with the construction phase of the DILG Albay Provincial Operations Office in Brgy. Tuburan, Ligao City. The groundbreaking ceremony on February 7, 2024, marks a significant stride in bolstering local governance and reinforcing the Department’s dedication to community service.

One of the notable aspects of this project is the generosity displayed by City Mayor Hon. Fernando V. Gonzalez and Third District Representative Fernando “Didi” Cabredo, who donated the land for the soon-to-rise edifice, underscoring their commitment to a strengthened partnership between the Department and the LGU, as well as the affinity for public service.

Present during the ceremonial groundbreaking are City Mayor Hon. Fernando V. Gonzalez, Vice Mayor Jaypee M. David, Regional Director (RD) Arnaldo E. Escober Jr., CESO V, Assistant Regional Director (ARD) Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO V, DILG Albay Provincial Director Ray B. Caceres, CESO V. The groundbreaking was also witnessed by city officials from LGU Ligao.
