In view of the Department’s continued pursuit of strengthening Bicol region’s performance in local government awards and performance & functionality audits, the DILG 5 Team composed of Regional Director Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda CESO III, Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero CESO V, Provincial Directors, Local Government Monitoring and Evaluarion Division (LGMED) OIC-Division Chief and Assistant Division Chief, and LGMED Awards and Recognition Section visit DILG Region 1 for a series of benchmarking activities at Jorisan Waterfront Resort, Bauang, La Union.

DILG Region 1 headed by Regional Director Julie J. Daquioag, Ph.D, CESO III and Assistant Regional Director Agnes De Leon warmly welcomed the team and shared their status of implementation, challenges, and strategies & best practices employed on DILG programs such as the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), Child-Friendly Local Governance (CFLG), Peace and Order Council (POC), and Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC).

The DILG Region 5 Team eyes to emulate and innovate inputs and knowledge shared through the benchmarking activities to achieve higher functionality audit results.
