All Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) must be examined and assessed to ensure they have been completed correctly in accordance with CSC Resolution No. 1300174, dated January 24, 2013, and in adherence to Section 8 of Republic Act No. 6713, which mandates that public officials and employees submit a true, detailed, and sworn declaration of their assets, liabilities, net worth, and financial and business interests, including those of their spouses and unmarried children under 18 years old.
In view of this, the DILG R5 SALN Review and Compliance Committee (RCC) convened on March 25, 2025, at the DILG Regional Office V, Conference Room under the leadership of Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO IV, the Committee Chairperson. All committee members were in attendance for the meeting.
With the primary goal of facilitating honest and seamless compliance, the committee thoroughly discussed any challenges related to the assessment of submitted SALNs and deliberated on the appropriate measures to address them. Moreover, the RCC finalized its schedules to ensure the timely and successful submission of SALNs. The committee reaffirmed its commitment to upholding transparency and accountability in compliance with this legal mandate.
Moving forward, the DILG R5 SALN RCC will continue its efforts to ensure that all personnel comply promptly and completely with SALN requirements, reinforcing the department’s dedication to integrity, accountability, and good governance.
