DILG 5 congratulates the Local Government Units (LGUs) who were conferred with this year’s 23rd Gawad KALASAG Seal and Special Awards for Excellence in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management and Humanitarian Assistance.

The Gawad KALASAG (KAlamidad at Sakuna LAbanan SAriling Galing ang Kaligtasan), organized by the Office of Civil Defense – National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), is an annual awarding ceremony for significant initiatives in the promotion and advancement of DRRM in the country.
