Said capacity development intervention was facilitated by the Local Economic and Development Section (LEDS) of the LGCDD together with the DILG Provincial Focal Persons for the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Programs.
For the training proper, Information System Analysts (ISA) Gerald Andrew Gojar and John Paul Cordez of the DICT 5 shed light on the following topics: Background of the Integrated Business Permit and Licensing System (iBPLS) Automation Project, Relevant Joint Memorandum Circulars (JMCs) and Legal Issuances, and Roles and Responsibilities of LGUs and DICT in the adoption of said system.
