Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) took a significant step towards its long-term development plan for 2025-2050 as it hosted a Stakeholders’ Forum at the Alvaro Rabina Hall on May 18-19, 2023.

The forum aimed to foster knowledge sharing among stakeholders, focusing on regional and local development priorities in key sectors such as education, agriculture, environment, and natural resources management, as well as science, technology, and innovations.

Department of the Interior and Local Government 5 (DILG 5) Regional Director Atty Arnaldo E. Escober, Jr., CESO V, provided valuable insight and input to shape CBSUA’s strategic plan for 2025-2050.

RD Escober brought his expertise and knowledge to the table, lending valuable perspectives to crafting CBSUA’s long-term plan. His presence underscored the significance of collaboration between academic institutions and government agencies in driving regional development toward peace and order. He encouraged everyone to help increase the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) awardees in the Bicol region.

National Economic and Development Authority 5 (NEDA 5) Regional Director Engr. Luis G. Banua shed light on “Ambisyon Natin 2040,” a national development vision while highlighting the importance of aligning CBSUA’s plans with the broader national agenda.

With the successful conclusion of the Stakeholders’ Forum, CBSUA has gained valuable insights and perspectives from diverse stakeholders. Armed with this knowledge, the university is poised to develop a robust long-term plan that addresses the region’s priorities, maximizes its resources, and fosters sustainable growth in education, agriculture, the environment, and technology.
