The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office 5 celebrated its 33rd Anniversary with the theme “Makatao at MakaDiyos sa Serbisyong Publiko Tungo sa Maunlad, Maayos at Progresibong Pagbabago” on July 19, 2024, at the Casablanca Hotel and Convention Center, Legazpi City.

The event served as a platform to recognize the exemplary dedication, hard work, and commitment of its jail officers, who consistently perform their duties and responsibilities. It also aimed to acknowledge the significant contributions of stakeholders to the BJMP’s various programs and initiatives.

During the event, DILG 5 RD Escober was honored as one of the recipients of the Stakeholders Awards. This award recognized the outstanding support and partnership provided by the Department, which has been pivotal in furthering the mission of BJMP Region V to enhance the welfare and rehabilitation of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
