In line with the administration’s digitalization goals, DILG Region 5, through RICTU in partnership with LGMED, conducted an orientation for Cluster Heads (CHs), Provincial Focal Persons (PFPs), and Information System Analysts on the Barangay Information Management System, on November 13, 2024, at Lotus Blu Hotel, Legazpi City.

As part of the Local Government Unit Support System (LGUSS), the BIMS is designed to streamline data management in barangays, making essential records more accessible and efficient. This orientation is preparing the cluster heads and provincial focal persons for a smooth BIMS adoption as part of the upcoming rollout, with participants receiving hands-on training and system navigation guidance.
