The Regional Audit Committee (RAC) of the Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) and Peace and Order Council (POC) convened for a Preparatory Briefing ahead of the 2024 ADAC and POC Performance Audits

This briefing is in preparation for the upcoming Audit Proper to be conducted by the RAC on May 7-8, 2024. Members of the audit committees will primarily evaluate and assess six (6) Provinces and one (1) Independent Component City in the region based on the audit indicators and criteria pursuant to DILG Memo Circular No. 2024-028 entitled “2024 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit and Awards” and DILG Memo Circular No. 2024-025 entitled “2023 Peace and Order Council (POC) Performance Audit”.

Conducted via Zoom platform last May 2-3, 2024, the activity was spearheaded by DILG 5 Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober Jr, CESO V as Chairperson of the RAC together with LGMED Chief Darlyn D. Ayende and POARCS Chief Jute M. Balbedina. The virtual meeting was also joined by representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Civil Society Organizations (CSO) Partners namely Coalition for Bicol Development, SEDP Simbag sa Pag-Asenso, Inc., and Coastal Core.
