DILG 5 Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO V facilitated the discussion on the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG)’s Next Level of Good Local Governance, SGLG for Philippine Councilor’s League and Local Legislative Award (LLA) during the first Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Regional Summit on February 15-17, 2023 at Belmont Hotel Boracay.

DILG, through Bicol Local Government Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) and in partnership with PCL Region 5 headed by Regional Chairperson Juan Miguel Ricardo S. Salceda, envisions empowered and capacitated Local Government Units for effective public service delivery worthy of the SGLG.

Further, the convention is an essential avenue to redirect, reform, and reestablish a PCL that inspires groundbreaking initiatives and best practices in the different councils.
