Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Atty. Benjamin C. Abalos Jr. meets the Local Chief Executives (LCEs) and functionaries of the Province of Albay through a dialogue hosted by Albay First District Representative Edcel C. Lagman Sr. at Brgy. Sogod, Bacacay, Albay, January 27, 2023.

Atty. Abalos intensified the multi-sectoral campaign against illegal drugs Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) program nationwide. He encouraged everyone to be involved in this holistic approach of prevention and rehabilitation by creating sustainable anti-drug programs in their community.

The interfacing served as an opportunity for LCEs to address the issues and concerns in their respective Local Government Units (LGUs). Further, the Secretary gave his guidance accordingly.
