Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 5 rejoices and celebrates with the community of Barangays Pawa & Bangkilingan, Tabaco City, Albay as PHP 30M worth of Rehabilitation of the Pawa-Bangkilingan Bridge under FY 2021 Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Assistant Program (DRRAP) is formally turned over to the barangays on January 17, 2023.

The Ceremonial Turnover Ceremony is graced by Albay Governor Edcel Greco B. Lagman, Jr., Albay First District Representative Edcel C. Lagman, LGU Tabaco City Mayor Cielo Krisel Lagman-Luistro, DILG 5 Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober, Jr., CESO V, DILG Albay Provincial Director Ray B. Caceres, CESO V, DILG Tabaco CLGOO Ruth Fay B. Belarmino, PNP Albay Provincial Director PCOL Fernando L Cunanan, Tabaco City Municipal Police Office OIC-Chief PLTCOL Jonathan P Lladoc, and DPWH Albay First District Engineer De Rainero A. Zerda.

Also present are the residents of Barangays Bangkilingan and Pawa, Tabaco City, DILG Regional and Provincial personnel, and LGU Tabaco officials.

Through DRRAP, DILG commits to continuously aid in the recovery and reconstruction of the economy and livelihood in the local government units that were directly affected by the calamities and disasters.
