DILG Region 5 takes on preparatory measures for the second and final submission of the Auditee’s Action Plan and Implementation Status (AAPIS) in October.

Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO V convened a meeting with the Regional Office 5 Division Chiefs, Section Chiefs, and Unit Heads on August 19, 2022 to harmonize efforts and plans in addressing the identified observed control gaps or deficiencies based on SILG-approved Baseline Assessment Report (BAR) Audit Recommendations.

ARD Lucero also gathered updates on observations with ‘C’ and ‘D’ rating from the Internal Audit Service (IAS) Assessment as of July 29, 2022.

The IAS is set to follow up twice after the BAR issuance, the first being due in six months while the latter is done a year after the issuance.
