Dagyaw – a regional town hall meeting held at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation (ICR), Legazpi City, Albay on August 27, 2019. This activity features a one stop shop of frontline government agencies services and national government programs and was attended by the barangay officials, health workers, NGOs and other sectors in the Bicol Region.
Dagyaw is a Hiligaynon term that means “Bayanihan” or to be united. It is a regional dialogue which promotes and disseminates information on the open government and participatory governance initiatives of the present administration. It also provides a platform for citizens to directly connect with the government through town hall sessions, bringing the government closer to people.
