A coordinative meeting between the DILG ROV, AECID Bicol and the LGU infrastructure beneficiaries was held at the Office of the Assistant Regional Director last April 5, 2011 dedicated purposely for the initial presentation of the respective LGU infrastructure project proposals.

Proposed projects of the LGUs that were presented for evaluation by the Regional Project Management Team include construction and improvement of Level II Water System, Livelihood and Skills Training Center, and Municipal Ecology Parks. Recommendations based on the discussions were proposed for the final presentation of project concept notes and proposals, approval of resolutions and memorandum of agreements, and the respective program of works, plans and specifications.

ARD Elouisa T. Pastor emphasized the need to keep in mind the various vulnerabilities that the project seeks to respond to as well as adherence to all the relevant rules and regulations both of the Government and the AECID financial and administrative guidelines.

The Municipality of San Andres, Catanduanes was represented by Mayor Antonio M. Romano and Engr. Gil Augustus A. Balmadrid, the Municipality of San Miguel by Melchor T. Tribiana (MPDC), the Municipality of Tiwi by Mayor Jaime C. Villanueva and Engr. Edmund C. Dantes (MPDC), the City of Tabaco by Mayor Krisel Lagman Luistro, Engrs. Noel S. Bonaobra and Rizalito G.
