The Finance and Administrative Division conducted an Orientation on the Department’s Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) in compliance to the DILG Memorandum dated January 20, 2015 re: Use of the Department’s Strategic Performance Management System starting January 2015 and to the Regional Order No. 2015 – 007 re:Orientation on SPMS and Administrative Updates dated January 12, 2015.

The FAD team was composed of CAO Henedina T. Gonzales, Ma. Pia M. Salameño, Ma. Victoria Rañeses and Ryan Del Rosario. The orientation was done per station following the schedule below:

Employees were oriented on the new system, including its basic information, rating scale, computation of rating, new forms and SPMS Cycle. Employees were enlightened on the following issuances: Guidelines on the Implementation of Performance Based Bonus, Enhanced Merit Selection and Promotion Plan and Salient provisions on the General Appropriations Act.

Reminders for the submission of the administrative requirements were also reiterated by the team. It was agreed that the submission of SPMS IPCR, DPCR and OPCR for 2015 on January 30, 2015. However for the provinces of Albay and Masbate, they requested to submit the required documents a week after the orientation. – (AO V Ma. Pia. M. Salameño)
