The DILG Masbate under the leadership of Provincial Director Edwin F. Garcia, initiated the first awarding ceremony for the entire Bicol Region where employees’ achievements for 2015 were recognized.
The awards were Provincewide Top Performing Field Officer, Top Performing Cluster and the Cluster’s Best Performing Field Officer. Special Awards were included such as the Most dependable and Most Improved Field Officers. Recipients received their Certificate of Commendation and significant Cash Prizes.
Making the award presentations this year were PD Edwin F. Garcia and Cluster Heads LGOO VI Oscar R. Amador Jr., LGOO VI Andres J. Ativo Jr. and LGOO VI Raynard O. Garrucho for Clusters 1, 2 and 3 respectively. PD Edwin F. Garcia gave an inspirational speech, talking about hardwork, dedication and service of the field officers being appreciated, and how individual contribution will uplift the provincial performance.
The 2015 Top Performing Field Officer was LGOO II OIC Myla J. Borres who garnered the highest points among the Cluster Best Performing Field Officers. The Top Performing Cluster was Cluster 3 led by LGOO VI Raynard O. Garrucho with member-field officers LGOO V Valentino S. Leyco (Dimasalang), LGOO II Myla J. Borres (Pio V. Corpus), LGOO II Nica Angelica A. Bolon (Cataingan), LGOO V Julius P. Bonete (Cawayan), LGOO V Maryben M. Aguirre (Esperanza), LGOO V Excelsis Eligio B. Berango (Palanas), LGOO II Jane C. Abadies (Placer) and Josefa A. Escurel (Uson).
In cluster level, The Best Performing Field Officers are: LGOO V Regino Serrano for Cluster 1, LGOO V Joel Logenio for Cluster 2 and LGOO II OIC Myla J. Borres for Cluster 3. On the other hand, the Most Dependable Field Officers are LGOO II Myren Abigail A. Esquilona (Cluster 1), LGOO V Ben Paul M. Naz (Cluster 2) and LGOO V Julius P. Bonete (Cluster 3). Also, the Most Improved Field Officers are LGOO II Shirly O. Bargo (Claveria), LGOO V Rey Alvarado (Baleno) and LGOO II Jane C. Abadies (Placer).
