Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), chaired by Atty Romando S. Artes, provides, through Community Coordinator Officer II Allan N. Longcop and his 20 members turned over the Portable Water Purifiers to Governor Edcel Greco Alexandre B. Lagman.

Four field service vehicles (i.e., Military, Mini Firetruck, Ambulance, and Multi-purpose vehicles) were also provided.

The water purifiers will be used to ensure the safety of water systems in the evacuation centers in Albay, which have been affected by the ongoing seismic activity of Mayon Volcano. In contrast, the four field service vehicles will be used to support the delivery of relief goods and other assistance to the affected communities.

This assistance was made possible through the initiative of DILG Secretary Atty. Benjamin C. Abalos, Jr., is working to ensure that the affected communities in Albay receive the necessary assistance.
