DILG Region 5 Officers visit Region 3 to facilitate the comprehensive validation of Nueva Ecija potential passers for 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) on September 18-22, 2023.

Headed by ARD Jhoaden G. Lucero CESO V, the Region 5 Validators for Nueva Ecija are composed of ADC LGOO VI Amaline R. Colina, PD Julius Rodel L. Cal-Ortiz, PD Arnel Renato L. Madrideo, CH LGOO VII Shielame B. Villa, PFP LGOO V Theza Rose N. Ramos, Alternate RFP LGOO IV Ma. Victoria G. Rañeses, and PFP LGOO III Kristine Camposano.

Included in the LGUs validated for Nueva Ecija are PG Nueva Ecija, General Tinio, Talavera, San Leonardo, Cabiao, San Antonio, San Jose City, Llanera, Rizal, Bongabon, Cuyapo, Gabaldon, and Nampicuan.

The cross-posting activity aims to validate the performance of LGUs in various governance areas under RA 11292 or the SGLG Act of 2019, “An Act Establishing and Institutionalizing the Seal of Good Local Governance for Local Government Units, and Allocating for this Purpose the Seal of Good Local Governance Fund.”

In addition to these LGUs in the province of Nueva Ecija, DILG R5 National Validators were also deployed in the province of Aurora also in Region 3 and the provinces of Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon in Region 4A.

The Region 5 SGLG Teams kicked off the 2023 National Validation activities with a courtesy call to Atty. Anthony C. Nuyda, DILG R3 Regional Director.
