“Kamalayan sa Kahandaan, Katumbas ay Kaligtasan”. This year’s theme for the National Disaster Consciousness Month.

On July 3, 2017, in observance of the National Disaster Consciousness Month, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) together with the members of the local PNP, Phil. Army, the Phil. Red Cross, BFP, the City DRRMO, the private sector (Rodeo Net, Air Soft Club of Masbate) showcased their capabilities in dealing with manmade and natural disasters by simulating a siege, fire, typhoon, earthquake scenarios at the Provincial Capitol grounds.
