The Local Government Academy (LGA) spearheads the Sub – LGRRC Business Planning that will run from October 18-20, 2022 at Hotel Lucky Chinatown, Binondo, Manila.

With the implementation of Executive Order (EO) 138, the LGA actively promotes the establishment of Sub-LGRRC in support of the complete devolution of power and services to Local Government Units (LGUs) as it recognizes the critical need to provide LGUs with the tools they need to enhance their customer service. DILG continues to empower and provide necessary learning experiences through various programs, services, and partnerships while cognizant of the varying levels of readiness of local government units (LGUs).

This activity was conducted by LGA in understanding the necessity of harmonizing procedures for the Sub-LGRRCs through the formulation of the business plan which will lay down the operation of the Sub-LGRRCs as to its core strategies.

The topics to be discussed during the three – day training are as follows:

– LGRC Business Plan and Its Requirements

– Sub – LGRRC Business Planning

– Immediate Next Steps

DILG Albay Provincial Office participants to the Business Planning are LGOO VI Elmer M. Villanueva, Jr. (CLGOO of Ligao City), LGOO V Theza Rose N. Ramos (LGMES Chief) and LGOO II Ceasar James B. Bataller (Provincial Technical Staff) together with DILG Regional Office 5, LGOO VII Ma. Ruthel P. Gigantoca (Division Chief, LGCDD) and LGOO VI Mae G. Clemente (Assistant Division Chief, LGCDD). Sub – LGRRCs from Provinces of Camarines Sur and Masbate were also represented during the activity.
