On November 19, 2024, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Albay held the prestigious “PAGSALUDAR: Awarding for LGUs” at Hotel Lucca, Legazpi City. The event was a heartfelt recognition of the exceptional efforts and unwavering dedication of local government units (LGUs) of the province, especially their leaders and employees. The awards celebrated outstanding performance in various governance and service areas, including: Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA), Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC), Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA), Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC), including the National Awardees for ADAC and the Best ADAC Innovation, the Peace and Order Council (POC) with Innovation Awards, the Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH), Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) and Barangay-level recognition (2023 SGLGB).
