Local farmers of Barangay San Isidro, Jovellar, Albay receive new farm tools and seedlings during the distribution and turn-over of the projects Purchasing of Farm Tools and Purchase and Distribution of Fruits and Vegetable Seedling with a total allocation of Php 300,000.00 and Php 202,520.00, respectively, the first projects completed in Albay under the FY 2022 Local Government Support Fund – Growth Equity Fund (LGSF-GEF).

Said projects was implemented by the Barangay thru the supervision of the LGU Jovellar being the lone GEF beneficiary in the province.The GEF aims to establish to address the issues of marginalization, unequal development, high poverty incidence, and disparities in the net fiscal capacities of LGUs and gradually enable the full and efficient implementation and delivery of functions and services devolved to them. It covers the funding requirements of programs, projects, and activities of poor, disadvantaged, and lagging LGUs.
