DILG Albay under the leadership of Provincial Director Ray B. Caceres, CESO V, welcomes the Regional Management Team headed by Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober, Jr., CESO V for the mainstreaming Local Governance Regional Resource Center (LGRCC) in provincial operations by promoting knowledge sharing through the conduct of interfacing – a dialogue between the regional management and the employees of DILG Albay, within the context of LGRRC on February 3, 2023 at the Gamboa’s Orchard, San Jose, Malilipot, Albay.
The activity highlighted the presentation of the status and performance gaps of DILG Albay in the field operations by the division/unit chiefs from DILG Regional Office 5, vis-a-vis operational issues and concerns that affect performance and draw out strategies in program implementation to ensure attainment of targets through the World Café workshop method. Grounded on the LGRRC’s knowledge sharing strategy, this activity is viewed as a tool to scale up performance through integration of LGRRCs facilities in program implementation.
In his message, PD Ray B. Caceres, CESO V mentioned the on-going interfacing activities to LGU officials and functionaries conducted by DILG Albay team, as a synergy-building initiative to present the 2022 status of accomplishments of each LGU and corresponding recommendations of the Provincial Office while soliciting their commitment to scale up performance this year along DILG thrusts and deliverables especially towards achieving the coveted Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).
