In a progressive stride towards empowering local governance through transformative innovation, the DILG Albay Provincial Office, through its Albay Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC), unveiled the Albay Innovations Expo 2024 on November 11, 2024, at the Negosyo Auditorium, Farmville Compound, Albay Provincial Agriculture Office (APAO) in Cabangan, Camalig, Albay. The event was further amplified by the 2nd Semester 2024 Sub-LGRC Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Committee (MSAC) Meeting and the 4th Quarter Provincial Executive Conference (PrExCon) cum Albay Sub-LGRC Meeting, dedicating a full day to collaborative innovation, strategic insights, and advancing excellence in Albay’s governance framework.
These initiatives exemplify the unified commitment and dynamic synergy within DILG Albay, led by Provincial Director Ray B. Caceres, CESO V as the Albay Innovations Expo 2024 showcased a vibrant spectrum of the province’s pioneering innovations and model practices in governance. The expo featured a comprehensive suite of knowledge products and tailored innovations, covering essential DILG Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) and topics central to advancing local governance. Notable presentations included the Post Barangay Newly Elected Officials (BNEO) program, the KP System, SangKApp for the SK, the BIDA PRAISE System, the Albay LGRC Digi-Hub, and the SGLGB Systems.
Supporting this endeavor, the DILG Regional Management Team, led by Assistant Regional Director Jhoaden G. Lucero, CESO IV, Chief Administrative Officer Rico E. Gaurino, Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division Chief Darlyn D. Ayende, and Local Government Capability Development Assistant Division Chief Mae G. Clemente, each contributing to the event’s success and demonstrating unified support for advancing local governance excellence.
